Canoeing Western Australia is developing
a proposal for a White Water Park in the Perth metropolitan area.
The proposed White Water Park will:
have 700 metres of rapids ranging from easy
to 'scary';
be designed for rafting, body boarding
and canoeing;
be open all year round and at night;
include an Olympic standard international
Canoe Slalom course;
host major international events;
attract large numbers of tourists;
be a great place for Avon Descent training;
